My Passion: Playing the Guitar

For the past six years, the guitar has been more than just an instrument to me—it’s been a true companion and a powerful outlet for my creativity. I’ve been incredibly lucky to learn from my master, Zenith Kongay, who has guided me through the challenging and rewarding curriculum of the Trinity Rock and Pop school. My hard work has paid off, and I’m proud to have successfully completed up to Grade 7, a major milestone that has taught me so much about discipline and dedication.

As the lead guitarist for my school band, I’ve had the amazing opportunity to perform on stage at a number of inter-school competitions and various school events. There’s no feeling quite like the rush of performing live and sharing my passion with an audience. These experiences have not only built my confidence but have also pushed me to continuously improve my skills.

Beyond the stage, playing the guitar is my go-to stress-buster. It’s where I go to unwind and express myself after a long day. Whether I’m practicing scales, learning a new riff, or just improvising, the guitar allows me to get lost in the music and turn my ideas into melodies. It’s a journey I’m excited to continue, and I can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds.
